Current Website Requirement Analysis:
- A business analyst will be assigned by HR Grapics to do the functional analysis to understand the requirements of Client website beyond the basic scope document provided by client.
- A thorough study of the requirements will be done to reveal any gaps in the system and propose. solutions/enhancements to fill those gaps
- Analyze business services and their relations.
- Identifying suitable components for the website like Blogs, News, Photos and videos, Search, RSS, etc will also be done during this phase.
At the end of this phase a functional document consisting of all the requirements will be provided to client for approval and sign off.
UI & Functional Elements engineering / Wireframes / Prototype:
- Based on the requirement analysis and specific inputs on the layout look and feel, HR Grapics creates a design on paper. This we call as the Paper Wireframe.
- The next step, the website takes full shape in this part of designing. Menu navigation, links, content and style separation will be done for future scalability of the website. This prototype will be validated with the client for approval and once done will be converted into a html with appropriate CSS and java scripts written. (wherever applicable)
Functionality Development:
- HR Grapics will start coding the templates selected.
- The infrastructure will be set up with chosen CMS application.
- Customization and configuring of the CMS and new add-on features identified by HR Grapics and Client will be developed.
- Conversion of Graphic template to CMS theme (Manageable modular sections for easy content editing)
- All necessary development and coding to provide the features identified for Client website will be part of this phase.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- HR Grapics’s expert QA team will test the website and its functionality.
- Checklists are prepared for each and every deliverable and ensure that it goes through the defined process.
- Every release to the HR Grapics shall be internally signed off first by the team lead, project manager, quality manager, and the delivery manger before it is released.
- The proposed software is divided into number of builds, unit tested by the development team.
- All unit tested builds are given to independent quality test team who will test the builds in a separate test environment.
- Integration and system testing is performed in a separate test environment and once quality test team approves that the software meets client expectation and HR Grapics’s standards, the same will be moved to the client server for User Acceptance Testing.
- Cross browser testing will be done post the development phase.
Implementation & UAT:
- The tested application will be given to HR Grapics for UAT. Any bugs reported during this time will be fixed.
- Once satisfied all the features and functionality work as per what was envisaged, the delivered application is then signed off.
- HR Grapics will provide free extended support during the 30-day warranty period to make sure that any unforeseen bugs reported are resolved without any additional financial burden on HR Grapics
